You can help conserve the African lion
Meet Brutus and his brother Titus, the African lions! Born in February 2016, these two grew up together at Utah's Hogle Zoo before joining us at Brookfield Zoo Chicago in March 2020. They've been winning hearts ever since they made their debut on Big Cat Walkway, and can often be seen cuddling and napping, or heard making their unique “chuffing” sound, which can be heard up to five miles away!
Brutus and Titus are wonderful ambassadors for their species, which is considered “vulnerable” on the IUCN Red List. Want to help make a difference? Adopt Brutus or Titus and support lion conservation at the Zoo and worldwide!
