Touch and Feed Animals

Hamill Family Wild Encounters is geared toward guests of all ages, and features unforgettable hands-on experiences that include opportunities to touch and feed animals, including parakeets* and goats.

You'll also get to see llamas, wallabies, and reindeer, plus enjoy Zoo Chats and Animal Ambassador appearances throughout the summer.

The goat yard and wallaby public walkway will be open 10:00 a.m. - half hour prior to Zoo close :

  • Daily: March 20 - April 5

  • Weekends: April 6 - April 30

  • Daily: May 1 - November 8

*Seed sticks for parakeets are available for $2.00 each and are sold inside the aviary.
