Zoo Adventure Passport!

Learn about the animals at the Zoo as you explore stations that feature art, science, games, and more. We'll discuss how we can all support nature and wildlife through actions at home and in the community. Each session ends with an art project that can be brought home.

Learn how small actions at home can make a difference for the planet. Each season features different opportunities to explore the garden, its produce, and its wildlife.

Join us for a free story time! Stories help kids see the world in new ways, connect with characters, and build language and reading skills.

In the summer, libraries and guest storytellers host story times at the Zoo's Hamill Family Nature Plaza. In the winter, our KCLA team visits many of those same partners to bring story time activities to their locations.
