As our lead radiologist at the ZARD and one of the founders of the American College of Veterinary Radiology’s Zoo, Exotic, and Wildlife Diagnostic Imaging Society (ZEWDIS), Dr. Eric brings a wealth of expertise and insight into the database. Dr. Eric earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida and completed his residency training at Ohio State University where he remains as tenured faculty. For Dr. Eric, imaging is essential in veterinary medicine regardless of species. Therefore, providing a tool that can improve the health care of ambassador individuals for their species feels to have a great impact on a more global scale. Whether he is contributing to an animal’s care in-person or through teleradiodiology, collaboration with zoo, exotic, and wildlife veterinarians is unique and makes the job of a radiologist more fulfilling.
