After being raised in San Diego, Dr. Erica attended veterinary school in Edinburgh, Scotland and completed time at a private practice in England before returning to the United States for specialty training in veterinary radiology. She has since returned to San Diego where she enjoys dedicating part of her time as a radiologist to assisting the ZARD team. Her goal is to read as many zoo and non-traditional companion species studies as possible! Dr. Erica’s fondest memory of being a veterinarian is helping an inquisitive young boy learn about and understand vaccines during a routine consult for his first dog. His youthful curiosity, genuine interest, and open fascination was very inspiring.
