Dr. Ketaki enjoys working with wildlife and serves on the medical advisory board for the Los Angeles Zoo. She considers the creation of a database for non-domestic species invaluable and sees it as an opportunity to continuously improve patient care for free-living animals and those in managed care. A California native, Dr. Ketaki temporarily migrated to Ohio State University for her veterinary diagnostic imaging residency after completing veterinary school at University of California Davis. Besides volunteering her time for the ZARD, she loves traveling around the world, sometimes to remote places, to view and photograph native species and engage with local community members about the advanced veterinary care that can be provided.
