Dr. Lauren has a longstanding interest in zoological and aquatic species fueled by her desire to learn more about comparative anatomy and how this relates to function. Another California native, she across the country to Brown University in Providence, RI for her undergraduate studies prior to returning to California to attend UC Davis College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing her residency at Colorado State University, she joined the radiology service as a faculty member. Dr Lauren thinks the development of ZARD will be a great resource for radiologists to access and help support care for zoo-managed animals, as well as further our knowledge base and allow for more collaborative research.
