Meg Thompson, DVM, Dipl ACVR

Dr. Meg is a board-certified veterinary radiologist that currently serves as the Associate Dean of Hospital Operations at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals. Although she primarily serves the veterinary community in an administrative role, Dr. Meg has a large heart for zoological medicine and radiology. Dr. Meg completed her radiology residency at the University of Florida and continues to interpret diagnostic imaging studies for zoological companion animals, wildlife, and zoo-managed animals at Cornell. One of her favorite memories as a veterinarian was when she learned snapping turtles can extend their necks and reach almost 180 degrees behind them – watch your fingers!
