You can help conserve bald eagles
The bald eagle nearly became extinct in the early 20th century due to habitat destruction and hunting. After legal protections and conservation efforts were put into place, bald eagle populations began growing in the U.S. Please consider helping support them through the Animal Adoption Program!

Zeus
Zeus the bald eagle was born in the wild, but several years ago, he was hit by a train. He has thankfully recovered since then but was not able to be released back into the wild due to his injuries. Zeus has a forever home at Brookfield Zoo Chicago, where he and his companion Charlie receive great care and enrichment.
Interested in adopting Zeus? Online purchasing for adopts will be rolled out soon!
In the meantime, please call 708-688-8341 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. to symbolically adopt.
