You can help conserve the bottlenose dolphin
Did you know that Brookfield Zoo Chicago runs the Sarasota Dolphin Research Program, the world’s longest-running study of dolphins in the wild? This incredible program helps us understand the unique needs and behaviors of bottlenose dolphins so that we can help better protect them.
Brookfield Zoo Chicago is also home to several bottlenose dolphins. You can help support their care and conservation when you adopt them through our Animal Adoption Program:

Noelani
Noelani was born at Brookfield Zoo Chicago to Tapeko and Lucky in October 2003. She is very playful and finds new ways to engage with her enrichment items. She will sometimes let her tongue flow out of her mouth while swimming! She can also be recognized by her dorsal fin, which has a rippled trailing edge.
Interested in adopting Noelani? Online purchasing for adopts will be rolled out soon!
In the meantime, please call 708-688-8341 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. to symbolically adopt.
