Voyage to the Outback

G'day mate! Hop on over to Australia to meet the residents of the outback, from the nocturnal creatures of the desert to the animals of the bush.

Residents of the Australia House and outdoor yards include western gray kangaroos, Bennett’s wallabies, brush-tailed bettongs, kookaburras, and more.

Make sure to see Adelaide, the short-beaked echidna — at 57 years old, she is the oldest animal currently at Brookfield Zoo Chicago!
