An Unprecedented Habitat for Primates

Spanning nearly three acres, this incredible new experience opened in Summer 2025 and is one of the largest primate habitats in any accredited U.S. zoo. This new addition builds on Tropic World’s legacy, emulating the natural homes of primates around the world, including spider monkeys, orangutans, and Western lowland gorillas.

Featuring four dynamic habitats and micro-climates modeled after Africa, Asia, and South America, Bramsen Tropical Forests is designed with the latest advancements in animal care and welfare to meet the unique needs of these animals. This habitat also includes the indoor Gorilla Conservation Center, where you can learn more about these special primates.
